The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Lagos East Senatorial Candidate, Senator Olanrewaju Moshood a.k.a BOB TARNER, on Saturday, 5th September, 2026, officially flagged off his campaign in Ikorodu, Lagos, unveiling a comprehensive 15-point manifesto tagged “BUILDING A BETTER LAGOS EAST – TOGETHER, WE CAN DO MORE!”
The colourful flag-off, held at Ikorodu, witnessed a massive turnout of party leaders, women leaders, youth groups, and supporters from across the five Local Governments that make up Lagos East. The event signaled the readiness of Lagos East for a new era of quality representation.
15-POINT RESCUE AGENDA
Presenting his manifesto, Senator Bob Tarner promised a United, Secured, Progressive and Prosperous Lagos East.
Under Legislative Focus, the ADC candidate pledged to pursue:
A united, secured and economically buoyant Lagos East where every child must compulsorily have access to qualitative education. Championing the reinstatement of fuel subsidy to ease hardship on the masses. Legislation against child abuse and protection of children.
Free, running tap water for all residents of Lagos East. Free health services at reach and on call – upgrading Health Centers, posts and clinics to WHO standards. Agricultural buoyancy – encouraging fish farming, marine fertilization, and focusing on farmland to increase food production. Development of marine policing and radar surveillance to secure waterways. Boat structuring with focus on establishing a Boat Yard company to create jobs.
Under Others, Bob Tarner also promised:
Electricity stability – Constant electricity through solar sourcing and basic supply to homes. Partnership with manufacturing sector to guarantee employ-abilities for youths. Care of the aged and the vulnerable. Human Resources development – Training using TTT in useful skills and ToT, SMEs empowerment. Retroactive law on drug trafficking, peddling, usage and abuse. NELFUND debt forgiveness for higher education students.
IKEJA LGA DELEGATION SHOWS SOLIDARITY
Adding colour to the event was a strong delegation from ADC Ikeja LGA, led by executive members and state representatives. The delegation declared total support for the Lagos East project and the Atiku & Amaechi Rescue Team.
Members present include: Alhaji Sakiru Shobola, Chief Mrs Yetunde Morohundiya, Barr. Folusho Leigh, Alhaja Bolanle Jafojo (Lagos State Woman Leader), Comrade Frank Onyeka, and Fisayo Fakayode (FISFAK), Publicity Secretary, ADC Ikeja LGA.

Speaking at the event, the Ikeja team described Bob Tarner as a grassroots leader with a clear vision, noting that his focus on education, health, water, electricity, security and youth empowerment aligns with the needs of ordinary Lagosians.
ADC IS THE ALTERNATIVE
With his campaign mantra of “United, Secured, Progressive, Prosperous”, Senator Bob Tarner urged Lagosians to join the ADC movement to rescue Lagos East and Nigeria from economic hardship and poor representation.
The Ikorodu flag-off marks the beginning of his tour across all LGAs in Lagos East Senatorial District.
