BREAKING: Atiku Vows To Restore Fuel Subsidy, Reopen Borders If Elected In 2027

Former Vice-President and ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has pledged to restore fuel subsidy, reopen Nigeria’s land borders for legitimate business, and tackle insecurity if elected in 2027.

He made the promise on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at the ADC presidential campaign flag-off in Sokoto along Ilorin Road.

Atiku said he will restore fuel subsidy to ease hardship, reopen borders for legitimate trade, and tackle insecurity in North-West and North-East.

He also vowed: I will not allow Tinubu and APC to rig me out like in 2023.

The DSS has denied Atiku’s allegation that it planned protests in Sokoto and says it has ordered an investigation.
