Collective achievement of good governance requires a unity of purpose by Fisayo Fakayode (FISFAK) the Chairman, Nigerian ADC Awakening Movement (NAAM)- Lagos Chapter

At this crucial time, Nigerians are yearning for new direction towards better systems of government and struggling for survival of their daily activities.

Presently, Nigerians are experiencing a life of servitude, despite the country’s rich natural resources bestowed upon it by God. The older generation is crying out, the youth are in distress, and the children are also suffering.

As a leading opposition party, ADC should fulfill its responsibility to rescue Nigerians from the clutches of these heartless rulers who view politics as a means to manipulate and dominate the people.

Nigeria boasts a plethora of talented citizens, it is imperative that we do not cede control of our future to those who lack direction in solving our national issues.

Over the past decade, Nigeria has experienced considerable increases in commodity prices, marked by a pronounced difference between the Goodluck Jonathan administration (approximately 2010–2015) and the current Bola Tinubu administration (2023–present).

When aspiring to good governance, conducting a comparative analysis between the past and the present is vital. However, our present situation falls short of representing the benefits of democracy, and therefore, we need a system that prioritizes the interests of all citizens.

I urge all Nigerians, youths and elders alike, to join forces in pursuit of a unified purpose and secure their future for posterity.
