A New Nigeria Begins With You”

Fellow Nigerians, children of hope, the vibrant youth of our great land, and the hardworking adults who have carried this nation with silent strength I greet you all.
Today, I come to speak not just as a leader, but as your brother, your sister, your son, your neighbor one who believes, deeply and completely, in the possibility of a better Nigeria.

To our children,
I see you bright-eyed, full of questions and dreams. You are not too young to make a difference. You are not too small to matter. From the classrooms of Agege to the playgrounds of Ikeja, your laughter is a sound of promise. Dream big. Read wide. Create. Ask questions. Build robots. Paint the skies. Nigeria belongs to you and I promise, we will build a nation where your dreams are safe.

To our youth,
Let me tell you something the world doesn’t say enough: you are not the problem…. you are the answer and solution when given the right opportunity and empowered. Your ideas, your energy, your resilience in the face of hardship are not in vain. You’ve built tech startups from cyber cafés, created music that echoes across continents, and led movements that shook the corridors of power. I see you. I believe in you. And I say this….we are building a nation where your hustle will not be hindered, where your voice will not be silenced, and where your future will not be stolen.

To our adults,
Mothers and fathers. Workers. Traders. Farmers. Teachers. Drivers. Civil servants. You are the foundation of this country. You have sacrificed so much for so long. I honor you. And I promise you this we will work for you and with you. We will rebuild this nation from the inside out: with better hospitals, secure streets, stable electricity, and jobs that pay what you truly deserve. You will not be forgotten. You will not be left behind.
But this vision is not mine alone …it is ours.
We cannot wait for outsiders to fix Nigeria. We are Nigeria.
The change we want must start in our homes, our schools, our communities. It starts with believing not just in government, but in ourselves, in one another.
We will build our community and a Nigeria where no child is too poor to dream,
Where no youth is too frustrated to try,
Where no adult is too tired to hope.

This is our time.
A time for unity, not division.
For courage, not fear.
For action, not empty promises.
And as long as I live, as long as I lead, I will not rest until every Nigerian young or old can walk this land with dignity, opportunity, and pride.

Nigeria will rise. And if you rise, Nigeria will rise.
