Kano state, APC leader Ismaeel Ahmed has stated that APC does not want former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi to come together and contest againt the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC in 2027 general election.

He made the statement through a video clp that was shared on the official X handle of Mic On The Podcast on Saturday.

“Ahmed stated that they don’t want Atiku and Peter Obi to merge ahead of the presidential election in 2027. He said it is a threat for the All Progressive Congress if the former governor of Anambra state and the former vice president come together”.
He was quoted as saying that;

“If you look at the votes of Atiku plus Obi in the 2023 presidential election, we could have easily lost the election if they are put together. It is a threat if they come together!”.
